My camera screen wont come on?

Generally when there is no power, the camera simply needs to be serviced by a professional. This came up as a Canon as someone had mentioned Canon in one of the answer. If it is in fact a Canon Powershot, your best bet for service would be: That is who we recommend for the Powershots. They do outstanding work and they are very affordable (generally $79 or $89) including all the servicing for the camera, parts and labor for the no power problem, and return shipping, they're unbeatable for the Canons and they do excellent work. Best of luck with the issue at hand.

I have canon g9 .lens in oyt &lens error restart camera

The problem you have will require the camera being serviced. A reall good place to get help with the G9's is They only service Canon Powershots and they are really great for these. With them, you would pay $89 for the service package and that covers everything on the repair and the service on the camera included. They're really great if you need help with a Powershot. When you click on that link I gave you it will take you to their site. Look under their complete service packages and you'll see the lens error service there for the G9. I hope that helps with it.

Canon 350d with sigma 75-300 Macro

Check you exposure compensation and make sure it's not set above 0. Also take a peek at your LCD brightness level. If it's set high, everything looks overexposed when it's really not.

Moire patterns

The moire pattern is most likely due to poor lens resolution and a resolution that conflicts with the close pattern of the house design. By lowering the resolution. you are making the receptors "bigger" so they dont pick up the smallest details. if you get a larger MP camera, you can use the best resolution and the pattern will look natural. It is as if you are right in the "sweet spot" for the moire pattern to manifest itself. Another way to combat this is to slightly tilt the camera as the pixels are lined up like bricks in a wall. and the horizontal patterns will not be overlayed onto the horizontal biasing of the CCD.

Playing DV footage that was recorded on a different camera

Canon camcorders have a non-standard head position. Borrow a panasonic or samsung camcorder (those two are compatible) and backup your casettes on dvds. If you want them to be on minidv readable on canon camcorder, connect it afterwards and send video to minidv through your camcorder. It will then be alligned the way that suites your gear.

Either that or go to the professional service that does conversion from minidv tapes. That usually costs around 15$ per hour, so if you have 10 or more hours of video, the less expensive way is buying an entry model of panasonic camcorder.

Purple Fringing with H1

I use paintshop pro v9 to remove purple fringing. It has an option under ADJUST/PHOTO FIX/CHROMATIC ABERRATION

it really does a great job even in automatic mode!!! Im sure the latest vs 11 will work even better!

This is common with zoom lenses. very difficult to find any optics that does this. maybe some cameras will remove that within the camera itself.
