Question about HP Officejet Pro L7580 All-In-One InkJet Printer

I have an HP Officejet Pro 7580. When printing in

I have an HP Officejet Pro 7580. When printing in black only several of the lines of text are not printing fully as there is a line through the text. Is there a way to clean the machine's printheads? on this machine HP denies warranty. I put HP black ink in, it printed great (like it should...) for 10-12 days and the flashing ! came on. Cleaned and now it flashes for the majenta. Dont buy these chip loaded cartridges, they malfunction and you buy another $60 cart and get 2 weeks????? Printer is super when it works.

How do I clean HP officejet Pro L7680 All pictures have severe vertical lines??

Have you tried the "clean print head" option in the HP Officejet Pro software on your computer? This will often fix verticle lines. But, it will use a lot of ink.

Recently i was sent an expired cartige by HP Now the printer officejet Pro 7580 does not print

Many of the cartridges are microchipped to ensure they originals and compatible, they often put an expiry on for no apparent reason. Many models will run a firmware upgrade but you have to go look for it. You should be able to return to your supplier. But HP are often very good if you contact them.
I hope this helps in some small way.

Out of the blue, in the middle of printing, my HP Officejet Pro 7580 printer gave me the following error: The following printhead(s) has a problem: Black/Yellow (K/Y) I have no clue what to do or where to...

Unfortunately this seems to be a common problem with this printer model. You can try reinstalling the cartridge but I would call HP and ask for a replacement printer. Here's a link to a forum that shows others having the same problem as you.

A black vertical line is on each copy.

Try the 6500 driver. I have seen that allow text print but no graphics. If line disappears, reinstall 7680 driver. If line comes back, contact HP about updated drivers, check their website OR try to get your money back. I have never had luck with this series of AIO.
Good luck.

HP Officejet Pro L7650 Print head problem

The reason why the printer refuses to print if you get low on one or more colors is that the system runs off negative pressure through the ink lines to the print head. If you were able to continue printing with an empty cartridge you could get air in the respective ink line, disrupt the negative pressure, make it so that that color will no longer print, and require you to get the printer serviced to fix the problem. I own a Cartridge World ink refilling store and I feel this is a good machine (compared to some of the others out there). The only down side with this type of machine is the print heads expiring or getting clogged as you are experiencing. The reason the black is clogged and not the other colors is that the black ink is pigment based and the colors are dye based. The pigment based inks do tend to clog print heads over time. You can try to rehydrate the print head with warm distilled water. if you can't get it working to your satisfaction you can buy a new black/yellow print head for $72. With this type of printer you should print at least one black and white and one color document per week to keep the print heads fresh. If they sit too long without ink flowing through them then they can get clogged and print poorly. I hope this helps belay some of the resentment you hold towards your printer.

The paper won't advance enough to print in our HP officejet 7580

Look for little pieces of paper that get stuck in the rollers, also verify that the gears and roller didn't get misaligned when you cleared the jam.
Good Luck,
