My Karcher DS 5500 is not start - Karcher K DS 5500 Vacuum

Possibly water went into the motor are a new motor will now be required. Either way the motor sounds past its best.

why dont you go too a hardware shop and ask if they have a water proof mastic filler may be able too repair it

My Karcher K 3.99 is leaking and dropped pressure. is it fixable (not filter)

It might be a simple switch issue. I would take it to a vacuum repair shop, one with free estimates. This way you will know for sure. and it should not cost you much?

check your vacuum at the pickup all the way thru the hose to the bag, you might be stopped up somewhere.

I can not find foam stop to buy

The water pump is not working or the pump line is blocked. Check the pupm hose, if ok replace water pump

change the filters & ensure that the water container is properly seated in the machine.If the water tank is not sealing correctly the machine will not genrate any suction.

The K5500 is an older model and doesn't come with the same amount of tools that the DS5500 comes with. You can usually tell the difference that the K5500 is an older model as its grey with yellow inserts. The latest DS5500 is all in yellow with black inserts and has some improvements made to the durability of its plastic body.
