You mean memory card? Sim cards are for mobile phones... Yes, you can use different memory card. You can buy a bigger memory so you can store/save more pictures.

New user. How do I unlock my phone with a new SIM card and just learning to use this phone?

You don't unlock with a new sim card. If you want to change carriers, you'll have to use a phone on their network. If you travel to many different countries, then buy an unlocked phone before you change sim cards.

I want to know call barring password

a sim card or phone needs a puk code or is locked BECAUSE it is not active,in order to unlock a sim card, you need to either, pay the balance owed, buy a new monthly service, open a new contract with a cell service or return the sim card to whom it belongs to,we at fixya CANNOT GIVE YOU A NUMBER TO UNLOCK YOUR SIM CARD,there is a reason why it is locked,if it was easy to get a code, then anyone could steal your phone and use it and you couldnt stop its use for at least a month.
a phone is jail broken when you alter it to work on a different cell service provider,we at fixya do not jailbreak anything,if it isn't legal, then it doesn't belong here.

No The sim card for the older models is not the same size as the new iPhone 5. You can take your old sim card to your provider and they can make you a sim card to fit your new phone.

Got an old sim card want to re-use how do i do it?

If sim card is for same company like t-mobile. Just pop it in new phone you want. If its for another company to a different phone service you can't. Sim cards are fully transferable to a new one with all your data intact. If you have an unlocked sim for any phone with sim. You need an unlocked phone. Or unlock your phone. Hope this helps.

I currently have a Vodafone SIM but am switching networks. When I put the new SIM in, it doesn't work. I have been told I need to put a PUK code somewhere, but Vodafone isn't telling me anything on where...

The Vodafone SIM card will only work on the Vodafone mobile network. If you want to use different mobile provider then you need to purchase a new SIM card from that mobile provider.
If you intend to use your old mobile phone that was connected to Vodafone, then if this mobile phone is locked to Vodafone, then the new SIM card from a different mobile provider will not work in the old mobile phone unless it has been unlocked to allow you to use any SIM card/mobile provider.
If you need to unlock this mobile, then please leave me a comment so I can provide you with further information.

im srry but from what i understand you are trying to use a sim of a different company in a different companies phone and you will have to pay $20 to the new company to unlock your phone to be able to use the other companies sim card its a pain i know but its necessary if you want to use the same sim, there also might be some ways around to unlock without paying the company check google.com

Looking for unlocked qwerty phone that carry a sim card

If you mean does it use a SIM card, yes, all gsm phones have a sim card. But it may need unlocking if you want to use a different sim than one provided by the original network.
