Do you have the original microsoft office disc? if so you may need to have it in the CDROM drive when you start theuninstallation. Another option.. I think you can do a seasrch for system mechanic 5 and if you even get the shareware version there is an option to uninstall otherwise uninstallable programs (I think it is the PRO version I have the reg version of 8.0 but it doesn't have this option, maybe the PRO ver will have that option

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

Hi there,

First you need to uninstall or remove the previous Microsoft Office in your computer do this by following the procedure below:

1. Click on Start, then click Control Panel

2. Click on Uninstall Programs or Programs and Features

3. On the list displayed, look for anything that says Microsoft Office and Click UNINSTALL

4. follow the screen by clicking anything that says "Remove" then click next or unistall, wait for it to finish and it may prompt you to restart your computer.

5. After restarting your PC, you may now install Microsoft Office 2010.

Hope this helps.

I need to install microsoft word but it is already in my comp but

You need to first uninstall the program (ms office)[if it's ms office 2003, as soon as you start installing the new ms-office 2007, it'll automatically upgrade to ms-office 2007].
I don't know whether you know how to uninstall programs or not, but let me give you the hints..
Click "Start" > "Control Panel" > "Programs" [add/remove programs on windows xp] now highlight the "Microsoft Office..." and click "Uninstall" button and follow the onscreen instructions. Restart your computer and again install the Microsoft Office 2007 using the set up file. If in case, you can't uninstall the program due to faulty/error/missing files, download this program ccleaner install it and run. Now click "Tools" and from the uninstall lists select/highlight the "microsoft office..." and cick "uninstall". If you still have the same problem, please let me know.

Good luck

Thanks for using FixYa.

Microsoft Office Home 2007 error during setup. Error 25004.

Try YourUninstaller 2008, 1-Click Cleaner (Your uninstaller 2008) or TuneUp Utilities 2008/2009.

Try to delete every part of the office from your PC. Files in Document and Settings/User

Dig a little bit in your PC. In Windows folder, Program Files, Doc & Settings.....

That should be a sollution for your problem.

Problem installing office 2007.

Hi,

You need to uninstall any pre-release version of the Microsoft Office 2007 system .

it seems that if you have a version of the 2007 Microsoft Office Add-in or Microsoft Save as PDF or XPS installed, this may be the culprit. In both cases, by performing an uninstall on this add-in via the Control Panel, and then installing Expression Web, everything works okay. You can even re-install the Office 2007 add-in when you're done.

Goodluck,
Please don't forget to rate the solution

MS Excel

Can you please provide any additional information, including error messages generated by Excel? Without knowing the specific error message, your surest solution is to completely uninstall Microsoft Office by going to your Control Panel and double-clicking "Add/Remove Programs". Then, once Microsoft Office is uninstalled, reinstall it using the CD.
