Question about Acer Aspire 3680 Laptop
File: \Windows\system32\drivers\wdf01000.sys status: 0xc0000098 info: Windows failed to load because a critical system driver is missing, or corrupt. I have only used the computer a couple of times and now I get this message when turning on.
Try booting into Safe-Mode and check if it happens again. If it doesn't go to Device Manager and remove any device with an exclamation mark. Also, try reinstalling the mouse driver.
If it doesn't work, backup your things and format the drive.

That can be frustrating :( hope my solution below helps..
on the current situation, I suggest trying the following steps: restart
the computer and keep pressing F8; Use Last Known Good Configuration.
the issue still occurs after that, I suggest testing if we can boot
from a Windows disk. If so, please install Windows on another
partition and access your important data. After backing up those data,
you can use Windows disk to format the drive and reinstall Windows.
However, if we cannot boot from a Windows disk, the issue can be caused by incorrect BIOS settings or damaged hardware. I recommend contacting your computer manufacturer to check BIOS and hardware.
