Question about Maytag Dryers
A sensor inside broke off and the wire was torn off can I fix it myself if I splice the wire and get the new plastic part Model #lse7804ace serial #1889084900 Is it safe to use my dryer this way
The quick answer is don't use a dryer is any of its components are not functioning properly.
It sounds like you culd fix this by doing as you describe. The sensor itself may have been damaged, so that needs to be checked after you make the repair.
Make sure you unplug the dryer when you work on it.
