Question about Epson Stylus Photo 1400 Printer
Hello, I have a PC with 32-bit Vista Home Premium and I've been having some serious printing issues with the Epson 1400. It had been printing like a champ until I had purchased Epson compatible cartridges that I later tossed being that they leaked horribly. Currently I have genuine Epson cartridges installed, but now there is some serious bright red banding and red gamma-esque high-lights. I did a head cleaning and reinstalled the printer driver and still no luck. When I did a head alignment the boxes that printed were not black, but a beige-ish color--I thought they were generally black boxes? Very confused and would truly appreciate some printer enlightenment! Thank you!
Try to properly align your cartridges and reset them. Also clean your transfer roller to get rid of the loose toner.

Try to print without high speed. If it's ok, you need to head alignment both black and colour.
