Computer cant read drivers after isntalling new HD

Computer sounds fine, CD sounds dead! Try copying the drivers onto a new CD using another computer & try them in the laptop again. The drivers may be Vista-specific anyway, so try downloading XP drivers from Toshiba website.

I cant install vista during the installation some error code will come

Have you tried the Vista upgrade adviser before installing Vista. Many a time Vista does not have any inbuilt drivers for those hardware which is not Vista compatible & if it happens to be your graphic card or your input devices like mouse & keyboard, then an error is bound to come during installation. Hope you have sufficient RAM in your PC. Try removing non-essential hardware components and then try to install Vista............sodeep

Cant find sound driver for K8V-MX motherboard for vista

Unfortunately ASUS has not written drivers specifically for Vista.

It could be that the sound chipset is INCOMPATABLE with Vista.

But before you give up try Win XP's and Win 2000's driver (They do share SOME architecture with Vista and just might work.

If that fails you can type in your soundcards name (Soundmax) and "Drivers" into your preferred search engine and see if someone has written a third party driver for it.

If this fails, I'm sorry to say it looks like your options are limited.
1.) Get anew sound card. There are some very affordable ones on the market

2.) Give up on Vista and put your previous Windows back on

Hope this helps

I cant install vista OS on this MBD , by sata HDD

You must enter setup at boot and select the CD/DVD as first boot. Then ensure that the BIOS settings have SATA enabled. When CD/DVD is first boot watch the screen for 'press any key to boot from cd' message is displayed. The boot screen will say how to enter setup. Typical buttons are F2, Delete, F1, F10 -you did not say which manufacturer. OEM trumps mobo maker with BIOS setup.
