Question about Microsoft Xbox 360 Elite Console
My XBox360 keeps freezing when I'm playing MLB 2K9. If it freezes on a part of the game that is repeatable (ie something on the menu screen), then it will continue to freeze every time that section is approached again. For example, it keeps freezing every time I load the team schedule so I cannot even play a game in my season. The XBox already had the red ring of death and I sent it in to Microsoft and got it fixed and it has been fine until now - not sure if that is relevant or not. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks! my 360 pro freeze in the middle of game but mot always at the same spot it froze 5 times to day 1: playing the begining of matchmaking of Halo 3 2: looking up my friends list on the Halo 3 menu 3: right on the game menu 4: in the middle of a song on guitar hero world tour 5: at the beginning of the song after the one above in guitar hero world tour
Well if these spot are consistent on certain disks time after time it is most likely a scratch, smudge or defect on the disk. check them all for scratches and if they are dirty try to clean them very gently with a soft cloth. This would only really concern your actual console if it occurs during heavy game loading or at the same spot during a load. Try cleaning all your disks and get back to me. GL
