Question about Motorola Mobility RAZR V3

1 Answer

Bluetooth & Moto V3m operation

I had a Moto Razr early model and was using an H500 Moto Bluetooth earpiece.  Phone was replaced with a Moto Razr V3m under warranty and I cannot get the earpiece to work on the new Razr phone.

I am familiar with connections/settings/bluetooth/setup/power:on

Cannot get the cell to operate by blue tooth.

I can get the cell to scan for and find the Bluetooth while "Look for Devices", but it just finds it and that's it.  Can't use it.

The H500 worked great on previous Razr cell.

Look if the earpiece is compatible with your new phone, usually its a compatibility issue with your equipment.

When I talk they can't hear me, but I can hear

The problem with your phone is that the earpiece on your phone is bad that is why you cannot hear the party calling you or hear anything while you call.

All you need to do is to replace the earpiece on your phone and you will see that you can hear whoever you are talking to on your phone.

Change the earpiece on your phone and you will see that the problem is solved. meanwhile, you can keep using the headset pending the time you will replace the earpiece.

Take care.

My iPhone 3G does not discover my Motorola H500.

Try this link. It solved my issue www.scribd.com/doc/280088/motorola-h500-bluetooth-earpiece-manual. Basically what you need to do is power the earpiece off. Make sure that your IPhone is not currently attempting to discover bluetooth devices (i.e. Bluetooth is OFF). Hold the On button on your earpiece (it has the symbol of a phone on it) for 6-10 seconds. The light on the earpiece remains lit. Now your earpiece is in discovery mode. On your IPhone, go to Settings, General, Bluetooth. Turn Bluetooth ON. Now your phone and your earpiece are both in discovery mode. When you see "Headset" listed, select it and enter the password "0000". Your IPhone is now paired with your H500 headset.

Problems getting bluetooth connection to stay on.

Your bluetooth is turned off.
Go into
MENU> SETTING> CONNECTIVITY> BLUETOOTH> STATUS (I THINK) ITS THE LAST OPTION> MAKE SURE THE MIDDLE OPTION IS NOT TURNED OFF.

Volume in earpeice

i work for a cell company and i hear this a lot. try this... while you're in a call use the long button on the side of the phone, turn it up and down to change the volume. if that doesnt work it may either be the phone's ear piece and needs replaced or it just may not be load enough for your taste. moto razrs are in my opinion one of the loudest phones so it shouldnt be hard figuring out whats wrong.

I do not provide the user manual, however, function of the H350 is very similar to the H500 and we are providing a link to the H500 user guide. Just copy and paste this link into your browser and Motorola will explain how to connect your Bluetooth Headset. http://telecom.hellodirect.com/eBiz/pdf/cellphoneheadsets/Motorola_H500_Manual.pdf
