Hi- I have a Nexxtech LED Lantern. It is awesome! However I was using it- turned it off and placed it on an ottoman where it fell to the floor. About 2 feet high onto a wood floor. I tried using it directly after that and it would not turn on?? Pls help I use my lantern all the time! Is there a fuse or something I can replace? I can't find another lantern anywhere!!

SOURCE: how to fit a mantel to a coleman propane lantern
Hi, First remove the knurl nut on the top. Remove the top and then the glass globe. There are several types of mantels most of which tie with a string that is part of the mantel top. The newer ones have a wire clip in place of the string. Which ever type you had on before you need to remove the old pieces completely. Since the mantles burn to an ash they will disintegrate when touched but if it had the metal clip you need to remove it. Tie or clip the new mantle over the lip on the output orifice being careful with the screen underneath. Replace the glass globe and top, put the nut back on finger tight. Remember that the mantel turns into ash when it burns for the first time so keep the gas low to start it till the mantle forms properly ( in the first minute) Good Luck, this should Fixya!

You most likely need a new battery, you can purchase one from Black and Decker, here is the link

If the problem is that it loses pressure quickly (that is, you have to pump it up again and then it will light briefly), the problem is most likely the cap. It has a rubber gasket underneath that has probably dried out and isn't giving you a good seal. These caps are common replacement items, all the same size, available at Walmart, Kmart, etc. Another likely culprit is old fuel. Many years ago (like 30) the fuel lasted nearly forever. But sometime since then, the fuel has been reformulated making it work better in the short term, but having a limited shelf-life. If your fuel is more than a year or two old, try some new fuel.
