The proper technical term to indicate that you store the content of an email onto a memory stick is saving email messages to a memory stick.
Sending email is performed using a remote server, and you can only send email from an email address to another email address.

The way you save an email into the memory stick depends on the kind of email that you are using.

In general , after opening the email message , either in Internet Explorer, Outlook, Aol , or a different program you just click on the File menu on the top bar and chose Save As, or Save Page As from the dropdown menu. A window to locate destination will open, chose to save onto the removable disk that represent your memory stick.

An alternative way to save the content of an email is by
selecting the whole text (you can use the mouse or Edit>>Select All from top menu)
Then copy selected text
Then paste the copied text onto a blank text document (eg. using Word)
Save the text document on Memory stick using Save As command.

Hi, that depends on the email that you are using, some Web mail cannot save directly from the browser, in that case use the copy and paste method.

Alternatively forward the mail message to a free service as Gmail , tat allow saving the message from the browser.

You can also trying downloading and installing a different browser. For example Mozilla Firefox can download many pages as Yahoo mail that sometimes are not handled well by certain Internet Explore versions because of their HTML structure.

Hello,

SOLUTION TO RECEIVING FILES ON YOUR MEMORY CARD.
You cannot receive files on your memory card directly.

You are to receive it on your phones memory, then you move it to you memory card.

You ensure your phones memory is totally empty so you can receive your incoming files.

SOLUTION TO SEEING YOUR MAIL SENT
Go to messages,
select the message settings,
select the message sending option,
Select save and send.

once this is done, you will be able to view your sent mails in your outbox.

Take care

I want to save an email message to my memory stick but pc wont do it

Hi,

Please follow the following steps to backup your emails from Vista on the
memory stick and then download them on in Vista Mail of another PC:

Backup emails on memory stick
1) Browse to the C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Window s Mail
folder
2) Open the local folders directory
3) Open the Inbox folder and Copy the contents of this folder
4) Close all windows and go to your desktop
5) Create a new folder and call it MSBackup
6) Paste all items into this new folder.
A manual backup of the message store has just taken place. You may now
simply copy the MSBackup Folder to your memory stick

Restore emails from memory stick to another PC

1) Copy the MSBackup Folder from the memory stick to desktop.
2) On the desktop, open the MSBackup Folder.
3) Copy all the items in the MSBackup folder and close the window
4) Browse to the c:\users\<username>\local\windows mail\local folders
directory
5) Open the Inbox Folder
6) Paste all the items into this folder. Choose yes if prompted to
overwrite folders/files.
7) Open Windows Mail. You will notice all the email messages have returned.

Let me know if this works.

Msgs - Too many msgs!!!!

SMS and picture messages are not stored on the memory stick.
Sony Ericsson phones have a set allotted memory space for messages and other phone functions.
You may need to delete picture messages, check if you have any saved messages (these are saved to your SIM).
Generally, the only other option would be to reset your phone.
To do a master reset, go to your Menu, then select Settings. Under the General tab, scroll down to Master reset and press select. Select Reset All and press yes.
If prompted, the default passcode is 0000.
Please note that a Master Reset will return the phone to its factory default settings (including locking a phone to the carrier if it has been unlocked). All user data and settings will be deleted. If you have any files or information you would like to save, you should either back it up to a memory stick or your computer. Your contacts can be backed up to the memory stick or your SIM card.
