Question about i-rocks IR-4300 4-Port USB Hub
Nothing I plug into the hub works, mouse, printer etc. This is second USB hub purchased that doesn't work. First was non powered so told to buy this one but still no success. I am running Win 2000 so do I need a driver? If so, I unfortunately don't have the Win 2000 disc. Shall I just take it back or is their a solution? Plug in a kensington 4 port hub, I don't see any notice that a new device has been installed, the hub shows as generic device in device manager but nothing plugged into the hub works or is recognized as new hardware

You shouldn't need a driver for it, Windows has bundled native drivers that will be enough to make it work.
Does anything else work in the port you plug the hub into?
