Question about Gateway MX6445 Notebook
I have a Gateway MX6445 Notebook with a Philips DVD+RW SDVD8820 drive. When I play DVDs the picture is slow, jumpy, and sort of digitized from frame to frame. The sound is also jumpy and seems to echo. I have also noticed that it takes a lot longer to "rip" music from a CD. This behavior is the same no matter what programs I use to view DVDs or rip music and I can play video I have stored on my hard drive with no problems. My DVD ROM R/RW will not burn DVDs or CDs but will play them. Does anybody have a solution for this issue
It means that your dvd lens is already damage. change your dvd player.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
