I have a Lexmark printer too, and after my original Lexmark ran out of ink, I bought some off of eBay (off brand, not original Lexmark ink), and I get the message I am not using original Lexmark ink, and it is not covered by warranty.  There is no way to remove this message, unfortunately.

I have replaced black ink but printer keeps telling me to replace black ink cartridge

If the it's a remanufactured cartridge (not genuine), the printer will not detect the ink in the cartridge.
If it's genuine, you might want to give Lexmark's technical support a call to have the cartridge replaced.

I have a question on the impact S301, can anyone help?

Please make sure you are inserting only genuine Lexmark cartridges in your printer. Lexmark does not recommend the use of refilled, re-manufactured or clone cartridges.
If you are using original supplies, yet the error continues to display even after trying to re-insert the cartridge about 2-3 times, please contact Lexmark Technical Support Center to have your genuine Lexmark black cartridge replaced.

Error message: black cartridge unsupported

Make sure that your printer firmware is updated. Please visit the Lexmark website to download and install the Lexmark Firmware Update. Select your corresponding model to start the download.
Should the error message continue to display after successfully updating your printer, try to re-seat your black cartridge in the printer.
If that doesn't help, please contact Lexmark Technical Support Center for further assistance. Thanks.

Lexmark X4270 gives an error message...black cartridge missing. It is not missing. what is the problem

Make sure you are using genuine Lexmark black cartridge. Lexmark does not recommend the use of refilled, re-manufactured or clone cartridges. You might not get the print quality you expect from ink that is specially formulated by Lexmark.
Try to reinsert your black cartridge and make sure it is properly seated in the cartridge carrier. If error comes back up right after placing it in the printer, then it could be a faulty cartridge. Try to replace it with a new genuine Lexmark cartridge. If you are already using a genuine Lexmark cartridge, please contact Lexmark Technical Support Center for additional assistance.

I have inserted a new black ink cartridge (34) and get an error message 'left cartridge missing, insert black or colour photo cartridge' have peeled label off and reinserted several times but still...

Make sure you are inserting a genuine Lexmark cartridge. Try to insert a different known working cartridge, maybe your old black cartridge, to determine if your new cartridge is faulty. If inserting your old black cartridge gives you a message saying "very low ink" or something to that effect, then most probably there's something wrong with the new black cartridge. Have it replaced with a new one from the store where you bought it from. You may also contact Lexmark Technical Support Center for assistance.

It sounds like the printer thinks it is not a genuine ink cartridge. Fit a Lexmark cartridge to cure it.

Cannot overide "wrong cartridge" message when using oem cart

Lexmark International does not recommend the use of third party inks or inkjet cartridge refill kits. Genuine Lexmark inks and cartridges are perfectly matched to the printing system. Using genuine Lexmark ink and cartridges ensures that every document produced is of the highest possible print quality, providing long-term dependable service from your Lexmark printer.
Lexmark cannot assure the excellent print quality and reliability of its inkjet cartridges after a cartridge has been refilled. Using incompatible inks in an attempt to extend the life of a genuine Lexmark cartridge beyond its recommended usage can cause failures in several different areas of the printer. Inkjet cartridges and printer failures caused by refilling or a third party ink are not covered by your Lexmark printer Warranty, Extended Warranty or Service Agreement.

Please use genuine Lexmark cartridges for best results.
