Question about Tomtom ONE v4 Car GPS Receiver
Please help. My tomtom one v4 has worked perfectly well for months. today I powered it up and it seemed to crash and wouldn't come out of the welcome screen. eventually I managed to power it off and back on but now it cannot find any satellites. I've tried putting back to factory settings and I've connected to tomtom home to see if any updates sorted it out but still no luck. can you help?
What u have to do is switch it off then leave it for a good half an hour then drive to a new position then drive along as your tomtom finds satellite.

Similar problems happen to mine, but they seem to fix themselves after a while. I've noticed that in certain areas, it will "crash," for lack of a better word, like yours, and I have to drive to a new area for it to fix itself and to locate the satellite. I would drive to an area where you know you have always been able to access the satellite, and keep it on for a good bit of time and see if it finds the satellite.
