First of all i would like to tell you that this could be an Operating System Crash, so you need to first run two commands in the run box
chkdsk c: /r -->> This might will ask you Yes / No, say yes to it and reboot the computer
run after using the above command sfc /scannow
If none of them works you need to run Inplace Upgrade
