Befor thinking the worst, it may just be a tactile switch, probly the vol. down button switch on the front panel of the set. When you unplug the set and replug it again, does the green LED stop blinking after 20 sec. or so?
If the Green LED does not stop blinking you are talking a major repais on the Main Chasi Assy.
Hope this helps,

Volume at max and won't go down

This sounds like a common problem on these TVs. Try a factory reset:

1. Press and hold "Menu" and "Channel+" on the TV. (do not use the remote)
2. Using the other hand, press the Power button.
3. A small screen should appear in the top left part of the screen.
4. Using the remote, select "Memory Recall" and Enter.
5. Power off and reboot the TV and Computer.
6. Run channel auto-scan to regain the picture.

TV is suddeningly turning volume up and down

That could be one of two things first being the front keyboard and possibly a main board. However the keyboard is usually the cause of those two issues. You can get replacement boards with free tech support for diagnosis to determine which board you actually need at www.tvrepairworld.com just hit the contact us button and enter the model number and symptom

I have an Hd 1080 series one day i was watching tv and the volume just went up on it's own i couldn't turn it down and eventually i turned it off> since it hasn't turned back on at all. if i unplug it...

Are you saying the power light blinks constantly and does not stop blinking?

The model you have indicated does not flash light three times on its own.

Confirm model number and I will try to help you--WS65315 is the correct model number?

The more you tell me the better I am able to help you.

Volume up then pic gone

Good Day;

The TV's front panel may be bad, manual buttons. TEMPT FIX; remove speaker, cloth covered, cover, disconnect cables. TV will work but only with remote.

Good Luck!

Sounds like you have a jammed / shorted out button on the control panel... Try un-plugging the tv, and then unplug the "button panel" on the front of the tv...see if you can turn the tv on with the remote. Sometimes if one of the buttons gets shorted, it will "lock" the processor from doing ANYTHING else, as it thinks you are holding down the defective button. If this works, simply have the defective switch or control panel replaced, or just leave it unplugged and use the remote only! Hope this helps!
