No signal

After repairing the power supply due to only getting the red light it now powers on shows the AKAI splash screen then goes to a blue screen in "svideo" mode and a "no signal" in the upper right side. Also it shows a volume level at 0 and the 0 pulsates. I'm unable to power the t.v. on or off with the button on the t.v., I can turn it on with the remote but it will not respond to turn it off with either the remote or button. I've disconnected the button control panel on the t.v. and it responds the same. If I hold any buttons (except for the volume down) on the t.v. for 3 seconds the volume level will disappear until release it. It appears to be stuck, I can't change inputs or anything. I hook up a Svideo source and it still shows "no signal". I also tried a known working power supply without any change in t.v. operation. Any ideas?
