Need Canon MP620 Paper Tray

I need to purchase a new paper tray for my Canon MP620, but I'm unable to find a parts source that has one listed. Do you know of a supplier that I could contact?

We have a printer (MX870) that keeps giving us an error stating: there is no paper. There is paper in it but we cannot get it to print...it continues to give us the same error

From the service manual about the paper issue this is what it says:

***Rear tray. There is no paper. Load paper and press [OK].

Confirm that the rear tray is selected as the paper source. Set the paper in the rear tray, and press the OK button.

***Cassette. There is no paper. Load paper and press [OK].

Confirm that the cassette is selected as the paper source. Set the paper in the cassette,
and press the OK button.

Hopefully its just a setting on the printer or the computers printer properties.

Best of luck..

I have an envelope stuck inside my canon mp620 printer somewhere. How do i get it out?

There are three areas for paper jam clearing.
1. Under the scanner cover
2. At the rear of the printer is a small door with rollers at the top. it comes away from the printer from the left. There are some small pins to hold it in on the right. Swing it out to remove the door.
3. The cassette tray. Remove the tray to expose jammed paper or envelopes.

Here is the diagram for the rear door.

Do not touch any components inside the printer.

Starts to feed paper and then stops and says it is jammed, it's not.

We have become aware of an incompatibility between the ZoomAlbum software and the Canon PIXMA printers listed below. This issue applies only when using the ZoomAlbum software to print Photo Album covers with Mac OS X.
Affected Models
PIXMA MP240, MP250, MP480, MP490, MP560, MP620, MP640, MP980, MP990, MX320, MX330, MX860, iP3600, iP4600, iP4700 Printers
Phenomenon
The affected PIXMA printers are designed to feed paper via the rear tray with a center-feed mechanism and two paper guides. However, the ZoomAlbum software was intended to feed paper from the rear tray in printers with a right-feed mechanism and a single paper guide. As a result, when using the ZoomAlbum software with Mac OS X to print Photo Album covers with the affected Canon PIXMA printers, the printed image may shift.

To remedy this problem, please use the following settings when printing Photo Album covers with Mac OS X:
1. Click System Preferences
2. Click Print & Fax
3. Select your Canon PIXMA printer as the default printer
4. Select DL Envelope for Default Paper Size in Page Setup
Note: Be sure to change the Default Paper Size back to Letter after printing the cover.

Canaon MP620 says no paper but there is!

You have a choice of printing from the top tray or the bottom cassette. When you press the feed switch it changes from one to the other and a led on the panel shows which is being used.

HP photosmart 8250 wont print from photo tray.

Follow these steps in the order presented to resolve the issue. Step one: Reset the product
  1. While the product is still on, disconnect the power cord from the back of the product.
  2. Wait 30 seconds, and then plug the power cord into the back of the product.
  3. If the product does not automatically turn on, press the On (c01453128.gif ) button.
Step two: Check the condition of the paper and reload it
  1. Lift the photo tray lid.
  2. Slide the paper width guide all the way to the left.
  3. Remove the paper from the tray.
  4. Replace any ripped, dusty, wrinkled, or bent paper.
  5. Make sure that the stack of paper contains only one type of paper.
  6. Tap the paper stack on a flat surface to align the edges.
  7. Load photo paper with the print side down and short edge first into the photo tray. Slide the stack of photo paper forward until it stops. NOTE: If the photo paper has perforated tabs, load the photo paper so that the tabs are facing away from the product.
  8. Slide the paper width guide snugly against the paper. NOTE: Do not overload the photo tray. Make sure the stack of photo paper fits within the photo tray and is no higher than the top of the paper width guide.
  9. Lower the photo tray lid.
  10. Extend the paper catch.
  11. Try to print the job one more time.

Supply rec paper tray - what does this mean when the tray is loaded?

OK, I was having a similar problem: Tray full of paper and tray adjusted properly.

Whatever I tried, the printer kept saying load paper.

I went to print menu>properties button (windows XP this is next to the printer name)>paper source tab.

It tuned out that the paper source had been changed from cassette to multi-purpose tray.

Change it back to cassette and you should be golden.

Can't print business cards. Won't feed from rear tray.

I just spend over an hour on the phone with Canon for the same problem... the resolution is simple. From the Control Panel, select Printers & Faxes. Right-click the mp620 printer, and select Properties. Select Printing Preferences from the bottom of the General tab, then click the Page Setup tab. Choose Print Options at the bottom. Place a check mark in the box next to "Disable the paper source setting of the application software." Click OK 3 times and the problem should be solved.

Check in the printer driver properties window on the computer. It sounds like the Paper Source is set to "Auto Sheet Feeder". You need to change this setting to "Paper Feed Switch" so that you can select the paper source from the printer itself.
