Question about Panasonic DVD-RV41 DVD Player
After using a Toshiba RD-XV45KB HDD & DVD / VHS recorder for just over 2 years the machine has suddenly stopped recognising any DVD disks either blank or pre-recorded. I cannot play any DVD's or record from hard disk to DVD. Has anyone come across the same problem?
This problem is a diry laser, or the laser is out of alignment.
You can try to clean the laser with isopropyl alcohol and a q-tip (the cleaning discs dont really work)
If you still have the problem - an alignment must be done at a service center with an alignment gage.
Only about a $35 clean/alignment (depending on your area of the country)
Thanks for usnig FixYa!!
