Notebook labtop screen blank (by 2 users)

when i turn my notebook on...the power button lights up but the screen is blank..i just bought it 2 days ago and i need help...what is your suggestion to fixing it?

I just had a new screen put in and it worked for a day and now all I get is a blue screen

ApprenticeSomething very simple....have you tried fnc+F7 (maybe F5) to change from monitor to lcd screen?
