The keys of my laptop are getting crazy!

Hi, do youknow how to trouble shoot the keyboard of my laptop? the laptop always sensed that it's F1, F2, F3, and F4 keys are being used/pressed from time to time even though im not pressing it. how can i fix this problem.

    im not experiencing the "crazy keys" anymore (that i i've been enduring for almost 4 months.)

Hi there.
There is a possibility that the keyboard is degrading and may need replacing which is not un-common, or the keys maybe sticking due to hair, biscuit crumbs, dust etc which is lodged under the keys.
The best way to check is to turn the laptop off, turn it on its side with the lid open, get a soft, clean paintbrush and clean the keys gently tapping on the keyboard to knock out the foreign objects.
If you still suffer the same symptoms then it will be the keyboard that needs to be replaced.
If you still have warranty, take advantage of that and send it to be repaired for free.

Hi! Usually it is Fnc + F2 or Fnc + F3 or Fnc + F4. Check it out! (By Fnc I mean the "Windows" key on the low left side of your keyboard)

Cant find wireless button on ibm40


In most cases, if there are no wireless button switcher, you can use keyboard key combination using (FN) located on the bottom neer (Ctrl) plus a key located on the top (F1,F2,F3,F4..) that contain a small picture representing wireless.
So jsut hold down FN+WirelessKey

F3:Search. On desktop, click F3 to load the search form.
