Question about 4-Button Remote Start/Keyless Entry with DP II Technology
I pulled the fuses out of my checkmate model kd-502c car alarm and the 1999 jeep will not start. the gauges go crazy but nothing else works. also the fuse box under the steering wheel makes a ticking sound with car off with valet button on or off. this started a couple days ago with the alarm sounding off for no apparent reason.i have tried to reset it by taking off the negative cable to the battery and using the valet switch. HELP PLEASE!
Sounds like the brain quit on you, I would uninstall it or completly disconnect it and have it looked at. Make sure you reconnect the factory wires and start over. Also check the ground for the alarm as it will draw current from what ever wire it can and cause all kinds of things.

Sounds like the battery is dead in the jeep.
