It cannot be done via the Windows Registry.

However, try:
Click START
Click RUN
Enter 'notepad \windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts'
Press ENTER.

Add a line into the file:

127.0.0.1 www.ibm.com

and then 'File' and 'Save'.

This will cause all accesses to 'www.ibm.com' to *NOT* work.

How to jump to a registry key directly ?

When you start Regedit, it automatically opens the last key that was viewed. (Registry Editor in Windows XP saves the last viewed registry key in a separate location). If you wish to jump to a particular registry key directly without navigating the paths manually, you may use any of these methods / tools.

Option 1 Using a VBScript: Copy these lines to a Notepad document as save as registry.vbs
'Launches Registry Editor with the chosen branch open automatically
'Author : Ramesh Srinivasan
'Website: http://windowsxp.mvps.org

Set WshShell = CreateObject("WScript.Shell")
Dim MyKey
MyKey = Inputbox("Type the Registry path")
MyKey = "My Computer\" & MyKey
WshShell.RegWrite "HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Applets\Regedit\Lastkey",MyKey,"REG_SZ"
WshShell.Run "regedit", 1,True
Set WshShell = Nothing

Double-click Registry.vbs and then type the full registry path which you want to open. [ Example: HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.MP3 ]

Limitation: The above method does not help if Regedit is already open.

I CAN NOT BE ABLE TO THE MANAUL OF INSTRUCTION OF MY COMPUTER------------- THAT IS THE ICONO OF HP MEDIASMART

Corruption of the CIS block information on the card can prevent it from being properly recognized by the operating system. In order to gain access to a Smart Media card that has a corrupt CIS block, disable CIS block checking by adding the following registry value.
  1. Click Start , type Run in the search field, and select Run when it becomes available.
  2. In the window that appears, type regedit . Click OK .
  3. Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\tifm21\Parameters .
  4. Click Edit, New, DWORD Value .
  5. Type SMCISEnable . Right click the SMCISEnable Dword and select Modify . Verify the value data is 0 .
  6. Close the registry editor.
  7. Restart the notebook.
See also To resolve this issue, please download and install the latest HP MediaSmart TV Software for your particular notebook model from the Software & Driver downloads page. They blocked the facebook in our office. Can you help me unblock it? Can I browse and open my facebook account on office? Thank you very much!

It probably has been blocked at the modem or router. You would have to have access to the modem or router which is usually 192.168.2.1 or something close to that. But you have to know user name and password. In the modem and even most routers have the ability to block particular websites that they may not want employees to access.
If the company is wanting to remove the block and doesnt know the password they can call the particular manufacturer of what ever brand it is and normally get it reset. Most dont have a forgotten password email option..
Sorry......

Error R6002 floating point not loaded

Causes of Runtime Error R6002
Several causes exist behind this error. One of the most prominent ones is a broken link. This link apart from causing the run time error 06002 can also produce other errors like the computer not responding to any instruction at times. If a software has not been properly installed it can also produce such errors. Apart from that, use of internet without any anti-virus software can make your computer applications get infected with spyware and viruses. Such viruses can produce missing links inside your registry causing such errors.

Why are these errors caused? Many computer users are just not aware of the reasons resulting in these errors and what are the solutions to get rid of these errors. Remember, these errors can be solved very simply, and they are not going to cost you money. Usually many people exercise the option of getting professional technicians to resolve these problems. But this is not necessary. Through following the simple procedures suggested below you will be able to eliminate the error r6002.
If you take time and start noticing, you will find that the runtime errors are due to corrupted or damaged registry. You must know that the registry is the most importance place which is a storehouse of all the data, about both the software and hardware installed in the PC. When you uninstall software or remove a device there may be some traces of such actions left in the registry and manually it will be impossible to remove them. You should be having knowledge of computers to do this, since it is not advisable to access the registry without this knowledge and manually delete these files. A wrong move can result in damaging the PC irreversibly.
Therefore the only method to fix the runtime error r6002, along with many other errors, you should use the registry cleaner. With a registry cleaner you can repair the runtime error r6002 all by yourself, without seeking help of technician. This way you can save money and time, and you will also know the action to be taken next time when you encounter such errors.
Using the registry cleaner should be optimized with the antivirus cleaner, and if you program in such a manner that both the virus scanning and registry cleaner can take place simultaneously, for which purpose you should schedule these activities on the computer, and ensure that at that particular time the computer is switched on, without your botheration of checking them, they will do their job on their own, leaving you to attend to your work.

Blue screen. 0x0000008e (0xc0000005,0x80409A88,0xf789e360,0x00000000.

This error occurs due to the following reasons: Faulty RAM, registry errors, incompatible drivers, hardware failures, faulty BIOS configuration, Viruses.
Follow the steps below to avoid the BSOD error message occurs again.
Check whether the RAM installed in your computer complies with the motherboard specs. Replace the RAM if needed. You can also check the systems with a friend's RAM to know whether the error message is due to RAM.
Use a free registry cleaner/fixer software available to clean/repair your windows registry. (Ccleaner is good at this)
Do not install incompatible device drivers. Install only Microsoft Signed drivers. Update your existing driver software from the corresponding device manufacturer's website.
If you have installed/changed new hardware, check whether it is supported by your system. Also check whether it is installed properly. If needed test the systems without the faulty hardware. Check whether you've installed correct/signed driver software for that particular hardware.
If you have reconfigured your system BIOS, set it to default/optimal/recommended settings and test the system. Disable features like BIOS caching.
Use an original and up to date antivirus system like Norton, McAfee or Kaspersky and run a full systems scan.
Keep your windows updated with current patches and fixes to protect the systems from unwanted troubles.
All the best.

New Printer not working with Windows Vista

Have you gone online and downloaded the driver from the lexmark.com site?
Have you turned OFF all anti virus software, firewalls and pop up blockers? Turn off programs like Spy Bot, Adaware and spy ware blockers. Spy Bot in particular will make that software hard to load.
It sounds to me like one of your security software programs are stopping your setup. That is a very common problem.
