Question about Pyle - PLMRA420 Marine 1000 Watt 4 Channel MOSFET Amplifier Car Audio Amplifier
I have installed a Pyle PLMR420 marine amplifierin my boat. The amplifier works OK for 20 minutes and trip activating the protection mode. It seem to happen while cruising and not at dock. DO you know if the pounding could be an issue, voltage ro adjustment?
Is it hot when it shuts off? from what you just described sounds like amp could have the "ohms" too low on a channel. Check you speakers with a meter. They should be no lower than 4 ohms.
