You have a short. Check the insulation on all wiring that carries + voltage - possible that some wire may have lost insulation and is abutting some metal part shorting it out.

Massage chair will not power up after electrical surge. what could be wrong?

Depending on how much current came down the line will determine how much damage has been done, it could have blown any circuit boards or even the motor, contact your electricity provider, they are liable for any damage.

The power fuse is always blown as i keeps on changing it for the fourth time

You have a grounding issue or a short along the line. No easy way other than pulling it apart and putting a meter to it to find it.

Fuse is blown in circit board

Did you have a power surge recently? That fuse can't blow itself. If a power surge got you then I would say to pull the board and put another fuse in. Of coarse unplug the refrigerator first. This may involve some soldering to remove the caps over the end of the fuse. If you did not experience a power surge then you should probably replace the board. If a component on the board has faulted, then replacing the fuse would be pointless. Because it would just blow it again. Hope this helps.

Does the Memorex MVD2040 have a fuse that can be replaced? We had a power outage in my area during a storm recently. After the power came back on, my DVD player would not turn on, as if it was not...

Yes there is a fuse!

They are no longer ones that you can change yourself.

Would be best to call a service shop and get an estimate of repair for a blown fuse replacement or my thought is this storm took out the power supply.

If it's a cheep DVD player it would be better to go out and buy a new one or upgrade to the newer Blue Ray player.

I have a logitech x-530 5.1 system that doesn't work. when i pulled the sub woofer apart, all I found was a blown fuse. What caused the fuse to blow? Also, what would be the voltage of the secondary side?

Hi there bud , The Blown Fuse could of been cause by maybe a Power Surge or a Power Trip...If this hasnt happened then it could also be due to faulty wiring in the Subwoofer itself when it was being produced.
What you can do is , take it back to the shop and have them replace it...Dont inform them that you had opened it as then they will delete your warranty...
Hope this helped bud
Happy new year

Blown Fuse LG LCD

Unplug tv and let it set for a couple of hours. Remove the back panel, the fuse is located somewhere near where the power chord comes in. Remove fuse and replace with one of the same rating.

Panasonic plasma hdtv will not power on--no blinking LED, simply no LED. Other objects plugged into same surge protector are fine; no evidence or suggestion of a power surge.

The power supply board itself maybe the main problem inside the TV. Or, it maybe something simple like a blown fuse. Replacement fuses can be found at Radio Shack or some other electronic supply store.
If it turns out the TV keeps blowing fuses, the main power supply may need to be replaced. You can find replacements at a good price at Shopjimmy.com
