Cleaned my all in one, now I have blocked/stuck page rest panels that won't act correctly
I recently began having front panel messages saying Cartridge carrier blocked close latches and turn machine of then on---actually had someone help by saying maybe I just needed to clean it real good. After I did that it worked well until the next day--when I kept gettiing the same message again and also noticed the two panels thatfold in straight- that angle out for printed pages to rest on after printing are stuck in the folded IN straight position And when I unplug my HP PSC 500 All in one from it's power source, and then plug it back in the panels won't naturally angle out to their resting angle. I can't see where a blocking problem would be to get the panels to act like they are supposed too---HELP. PS Since the first panel message came up saying cartridge carrier blocked,..etc,... I get that message ALL the same darn time now.

Re: Cleaned my all in one, now I have blocked/stuck page...
To solve the
# Hold the cartridge upside down, with the
bar-code label facing you and take a damp paper towel. # Use the towel to wipe the printhead of the
cartridge on the bottom (where the ink comes out). Wipe the printhead
horizontally in one direction only (left to right). # Continue doing this until it looks clean. # Then dab the cartridge on the towel to make sure
the ink is flowing. # Next, look inside the printer and locate the
carrier that holds ink cartridges. Caution: Make sure the cartridges are not
installed at this point.
1. Look for a shiny piece of metal underneath the
contacts at the back of the carrier. 2. Take a damp cotton swab (use water only!) and
wipe along the bottom of the shiny metal piece. Note: You may need more than
# Reinstall the cartridges, making sure you snap
them correctly into the printer.
Hope this help. Please

I hope you don't mind me saying so but often the softener dispensing siphon tube gets missed when cleaning the dispenser 'cos it's difficult to see!----------->
It will normally have some sort of cover over it which you must remove to expose the little stuck up pipe/tube. On some models there is just a small individual cap over the tube. The tube is down which the conditioner and water should siphon. It is likely to be blocked by 'gunge'- a mix of powder and conditioner. The whole of the tray, particularly this pipe and the bit which fits over it, must be completely clean and clear for it to operate correctly. It is worthwhile checking fairly regularly.
If this has assisted you please consider a 4 thumbs up for the rating.
Thanks and good luck!

If this failure is displayed, there is any malfunction of the steamer
component detected by the Steamer Electronic Board. 1. Check if pressure hose is fixed correctly.
2. Check if the air trap is not blocked.
3. Check if the hose is not blocked.
I had that problem and solved it by removing the red "STOP" cover. The cover pushes against a switch. If the switch moves too far down and rests against the cover, it will be stuck in a lock position causing the error message. To remove the red STOP cover, remove the few screws behind the console. When the front cover is off, turn it over and unscrew the two screws that hold the red stop cover. Then push the cover out through the FRONT. Do not attempt to lift it out by the end with the screw holes. It iwll not pull out that way. Test the machine before screwing the panels back agian. The message should no longer show STOP KEY. Test the visible white small switch that you uncovered by removing the red flap. The message should stop when you press the switch.
I kept the red STOP cover off of the switch and screwed the panels back into place. The machine now works fine!

Are you getting any type of error message on the display?
How long have you had the washer? Have you ever cleaned out the filter?
I also have a Duet (2 years old) and my clothes were not spinning out as well as they once did. I started getting a SUD error message with almost every load and then started getting a F5 message which the manual says it means it's not draining correctly. It never said how to fix it though. Went into the panel underneath washer, found the clean out plug for the drain...it was gross! Cleaned it out, washer works like new again.
"...it's possible that one of the front panel buttons is "stuck" or
shorted, and this could cause the TV to ignore commands from the front
panel or remote. But this should also cause the Power command to be
ignored, too. You might try pulling off the front panel and
disconnecting the front panel buttons and then see if the remote works."
