As per the user manual page 13, the globe with the lock means you are browsing a secure web page. The lock icon is not dissimilar to the icon you see when on secure websites on your desktop.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
New users get to try the service completely Free afterwhich it costs $6 per call and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

Hello,
Open the menu of your Samsung phone. Click on the "Edit" button on left corner top corner of the screen.

edit-samsung-wave-menu.jpgAs soon as you click on the edit button, you will see a red colored icon on the installed apps.

remove-samsung-wave-apps.jpgClick on the red remove icon on the installed apps to uninstall them. Once you are done uninstalling the apps, click "Done" on the top left corner of the screen.

That's it you are done with the process of uninstalling apps in Samsung phone.

Police siren type icon on phone. What is it? It sems to knock out the contacts in my phonebook and i cannot send messages while this is on

Hi the blue icon in top left hand corner is telling you their is a problem with the sim card, take the back of the phone and slide the sim card in a bit further, once you have slid it in a little bit more you should have no more problems, the sim card can move slightly so pushing it in further can and should solve the problem.

let me know how you get on or if you need further assistance ok

The lock icon means that your "hold" switch is on (on the top of the ipod). Slide it to the left so that you see no orange.
