Question about IBM Computers & Internet
There appears to be no sound driver installed
If you have installed the driver, and still no sound, you should check if the soundcard isn´t disabled in BIOS (most of bios-es start when you hit Delete while restart- please don´t play loose with those things, just look after what you need and give the ENABLED value, then save and restart)

Hi, try reloading your audio drivers first. If this is on board sound the drivers will be on the disk supplied with the system.
XP will also detect and run most onboard sound. If you have nl luck with the drivers then install a PCIE sound card, they are inexpensive and simple to install.
