No memory available on SIM How to clear this?

it depends in which terms your memory is full.. The sim card has the capability of storing some sms as wel as some phonebook entries. in order to empty your sim card,
1) in phonebook, tap on more, then move contacts and then select sim to phone. then all your contacts memory on the sim will be back.
2) In messages, some messages will have a sim mark on the icon. For those messages, open them, select more and select move to phone.. You will have to this for all the messages on the sim card.

After doing these two steps, your sim card will have free space.
Good Luck..

I forgot my phone password

this happens all the time with samsungs. i went to tmobile.com/forums and found some info to fix mine when i forgot mine as well lol. the problem is it will reset your password and all your other information as well :(

A phone lock or security code on most Samsung handsets can be overridden by performing a full reset on the device. This will set the security codes on the handset back to the default eight zero's (00000000).

Important: This reset restores the original factory settings and will erase all downloaded content, including ringtones, images, programs, and contacts stored in the internal memory. It does not erase data stored on the SIM card or memory card (if available). Make sure you have backed up contacts, calendar appointments, and other data before continuing.

1. Power off the handset

2. Remove the battery

3. Remove the SIM card

4. Reinsert battery ONLY

5. Turn handset on

6. At the Insert SIM prompt screen enter the following code: *2767*2878#

NOTE: If using a handset that was released after July 2009 use this code: *2767*3855#

7. The handset should display E2P custom reset

8. Power off handset

9. Reinsert SIM card

10. Power on handset

11. The phone should be unlocked

NOTE: If you didn't get a E2P custom reset or a Full reset message on the handset your Samsung model may need an MCK code. You will have to call technical support for this code. Please have your IMEI number ready to expedite the process for this code. Your IMEI number is located on a label on the back of the phone, under the battery.

I have just brought Nokia 5230 2 days back. I found that on the right hand corner of the handset near the battery a envelope blinking, on clicking which i get a message Sim memory full. I have transferred...

Hi,

This flashing envelope icon is telling you that your text message storage is full.

1. Go to Messages
2. Select Options
3. Then select SIM messages
4. Select and delete all SIM messages.

This should do it.

All the best!

Trying to copy numbers from SIM to phone memory (NOKIA 1100), message getting is "target memory full". deleted all messages frm inbox to empty the memory card but same message comes. How to proceed?

The sim card can only hold 250 numbers on most providers. The phone should hold up to 1000 but on older models can only be 500.There is no way in his case to move the numbers from the sim to phone. You could however purchae a sim card reader which you could back your numbers up on.These usually hold 1000 numbers.Hope this helps.
