Question about ASUS A8V-VM Motherboard
Look at the link below as others seem to have a similar issue when the northbridge chipset gets over 45 degrees.

Raheell, I enjoy building and modding. But I would never try to game with only 512 meg of memory. 1gig would be my low end and 2 gig would be average. Just looking at the Game specs and different Counter Strike and Half Life pages. I would check that DDR1 memory and the drivers on your 7200gs. But my bet is lack of memory or the memory is just not the quality for long hard work. Though it is cosair my favorite memory. Does it have heat spreaders on the sticks or stick? Have you investigated the 7200gs. Check out the Counter Strike and Half Life forums. I found some interesting facts. I also would post to CPU (Computer Power User Magazines site) They are the high performance place to go for hardware problems... Just some thoughts... PCdok
