Good Morning Jon, this is Z. Thank you for allowing me to assist you!
I see that your post is listed under Frigidaire freezers. Please help me understand if the question you are asking is related to the "UP" and "DOWN" arrows that are designed to change the temperature setting? If you are speaking about another triangle symbol, I will need your model number please. The serial tag, which lists your model number, is normally located inside the cabinet, on the left side wall. With this information I can better address the issue at hand. Thank you!
This means the sensor has determined that the temperature is rising. This can happen if the door was left open or an unusual amount of warm food was put into it. If this is not the case you may have a cooling problem. If you can put a thermometer in there and check the temperature, working properly the freezer should be around 0 F. If you have trouble please send the model number from the tag on the freezer. That will help with trouble shooting.
"Front Breathing" usually means the refrigerator has a fan forced cooling system (condenser fan) that gets it cool air (and usually exhausts the warm air) via a front vent. The vent is usually located on the bottom or top.
