Well, Nothing that sort...! no noise comes like that of the broken mechanical part inside. When i switch on my Printer it starts normally but this Orange light goes on flashing.

The Problem started when one client was printing a document somehow the printer pulled 4 pages at same time i removed the pages out without any paper cut and later these problem stated when trying to print document or any file for printing says "Printer out of paper" when there are papers feed. i tried with Tray one to print is the same. Any advise to what could have happened..??

    Hello Indus3,

Well according to your message from outside it seems to be fine the sensor but if you recomend that, need to open and check for the sensor incase broken or sliped out from its position then, i guess i'll try your solution opening the printer and check for sensor.

when you send a print job to the printer, does the printer make the usual mechanical noises like when he prints normally? or does he make a noise like if something has broken off?

If jimscott531's solution didn't do the trick, it's probably the sensor for paper detection in the bottom tray which might be defective or the lever that serves this sensor might be out of its socket or even broken. you might need to take apart the printer to find this out.
first check the lever: if it's broken, you'll notice without any doubt. if it's out of its socket, try to find a black plastic bracket where clearly something needs to be, and place it in a way that in one position it blocks the IR-sensor behind it. and make sure that the spring to hold it to its initial position is well in place.

My hp laserjet 1300 printer shows blinking the orange light instead of the green one and I couldn't find out what is the reason

1. Go light/button blinks twice with solid green and orange lights
2. Green light starts blinking with go light twice and then both go off
3. orange light goes off.
4. green light followed by orange light followed by go light cycle twice and a third time by the green light
5.followed by the orange light continuously blinking.

I have already tried the following trouble-shooting:

1. Put in a new cartridge
2. Made sure there is paper properly seated in the tray
3. Made sure all doors closed (I even took off left side to verify no memory cards
4. Verified all doors closed
5. Done a cold reboot by holding the Go button while turning the unit on.
6. Repeated steps 1-5 multiple times.Hope It's resolve all Your Printer Problem,

If I am not printing continuously, the printer does not print the first 5-6 printing jobs. When print job sent to the printer I get a blank page (printing job can be more than one page). After the blank...

Hi there,
It seems that " Print on both sides (Manually)" is selected in printing options., when you want to print any document Go to file Print > select printer and click properties and disable the Manual printing option in device settings.
You should be able to get printing without errors,
if the option is not checked then check for the default paper tray,
save the settings and reboot your laptop/desktop and restart printer as well so that settings should work properly and any given command gets clear from memory, If these all settings are ok, Uninstall the printer driver and download the latest version drivers from HP website and install see links below

At the lower back of the printer, there is a panel. Open it and if there's a paper stuck, pull down the two green locks on both sides to pull out the paper. Push the green locks upwards and close the panel. Then open and close the top panel of the printer to 'refresh' printing.

Paper Jam HP LaserJet 1300

Hello,

I hope this will be of Help for the HP LaserJet 1300 Paper Jam Trouble Shooting:

  1. See the product user guide for information about clearing jams from the printer.
  2. Make sure that the paper guides are adjusted properly. Slide the guides against the sides of the stack in the main input tray or the priority input tray to center the page. Make sure that the guides are not adjusted too tightly.
  3. The media input tray might be too full. Remove some of the sheets.
  4. Make sure that the media being used meets specifications. Click here to refer to "Media specifications" for more information .
  5. Make sure that the media being used is not wrinkled, folded, or damaged.
  6. Make sure that the printer is clean. See the product user guide for information about cleaning the printer.
  7. If printing to the straight-through output path, close and open the door again to make sure that the green release levers are closed.
  8. The paper might not have been removed from the main input tray before the tray was refilled. Always remove paper form the main input tray before refilling it.
  9. Output capacity might have been exceeded in the paper output bin. Do not allow more than 125 sheets of 20-lb (75 g/m2) bond weight paper to fill the paper output bin (less for heavier paper).
  10. The pickup roller or printer separation pad might be dirty or damaged. Clean or replace the part. (See the product user guide for information about cleaning and replacing the pickup roller and printer separation pad.)

Hi vgde2004: Here are some things to check.

1. The printer is in manual feed mode.
Possible solution: Change the manual feed setting in "printer properties"
2. The door is open, the media is out,the toner cartridge is installed incorrectly,or the paper is jammed. Check paper path.
3.Fan error
Solution:
1. Check fan cables for looseness.
2. Replace fan assembly
