Cancelling won't stop printing -- blank pages with headers and foot notes

Did print several pictures from internet's Facebook wedding of niece. Turned off printer overnight AND ALL DAY TODAY. BUT today I am still getting a blank page with the name of relative on Facebook, but no pictures or text other than headers and footers. Tried to cancel it and it will not stop printing blank pages with the top notes and footnotes with date and wrong time. Says this 32185 of 32184, etc. pages...NOT A THING I WOULD WANT ANYWAY. NOW WHAT?

actually, I had done both of the things suggested above before reading the solution you suggested. I had done everything except to unplug it and restart it. Guess that did it.
Thanks for your help. I do appreciate it. I have done thousands of prints and copies for years...but this one really had me puzzled. Now I will sleep better. Thanks again to all.

Dear, there is a printing command that is in the printer cache, and it is doing the job automatically. There will be a printer icon in the system tray at bottom right on the task bar of you computer, click on it, a dialogue box will appear with all the printing commands in the que and cancel all the printing commands in the que. and switch of your printer, re-start the computer. You problem will be resolved.

Best regards.

Elanora 899 Unplug your printer and remove the your interface connector most likely a USB cable. Shut down your computer. Restart your computer then turn it back off that is after it is fully up and ready to work. Now reconnect the power and interface cable and restart your system and this should resent your print to factory settings. if this does not work HP will help you fully test your printer.

My printer is printing 3 blank labels before printing the correct label?

Sometimes it's the Internet Browser (if you are printing from an Online Software) and by clicking File ' Page Setup you can make sure margins are set to 0.1 (or as close as possible it may override you) and all six bars below (headers and footers) should be switched to Blank.

Datamax M 4208 Printer - Barcode is missing when we print the label and we also get 10 extra blank labels with it. Please help me with a solution

Sometimes it's simply the Internet Browser settings. Go to File, then Page Setup and change the margins to 0.1 and all footers and headers to Blank or Empty.

Canon i965 prints blank pages

Yes those printheads do go bad, they burn out just like a light bulb. If you emptied cartridges then the purge/cleaning assembly is working properly, and the only other option is the expensive printhead.

My Lexmark3150 prints and scans photos no problem but won't print a web page, only the header comes thru and the rest is blank.

Check if you have ink inside the color cartridge.
The characters in web page maybe in color so cannot print out, the header is in black ,so printed.

BLANK PAPER

If you receive a fax with blank pages , nine times out of 10 the answer is that the sender fed one or more of the sheets into the fax machine upside down or backward. You can confirm that this is what happened by noting whether the header (lines of sender information) is present.
You could also be experiencing a technical or mechanical problem, such as a need to fix or change parts. You can test whether your machine can print at all by using its “copy” function, or print an activity report. If all is well on your end, the problem must be with the sender’s machine.
If, by any chance, you’re using an old thermal fax machine, check to see if the roll of paper has been put in backward, because if that’s the case the heads won’t print on the side that isn’t heat-sensitive.

Thanks for using Fixya.
