Problem for Panasonic Viera TH-50PX80U Plasma TV

I locked my panasonic tv and for got the code

I locked my Panasonic Plasma t..So My kids would have to clean their room now I forgot the code dose any one know how to unlock it the manual says to take it to a dealer to be fixed is there any way to reset password without doing that I tried to go to menu and hit reset but to do that you need the code and I tried unplugging it for a while and still need the code what to do?

Hold the menu button on the remote & the volume down button on the tv simultaneously for 7 to 10 seconds. The tv is reset to original manufacturer settings.
