-   my kenmore he2 plus front load washer does not spin all the time. Once in a while it does. We haven't identified what causes it to fail. Most times it's the large towel load, 4 bath towels and 2 kitchen towels. It seems like the rinse cycle failed but the signal sounds signifying the cycle is complete. We tried the remove front cover, removed 4 dollars in change, it worked fine the first day, but failed again.-   pnolen

you can check the switch that the lid activates and depress it to see if it works or needs to be replaced

I just had called several repair men with a similar problem. I was told that it is most likely to be a coupling. Chazuitar, your problem is definitely the coupling, thats the shredded belt you have. As far as everyone else it is either the coupling or something far out of my ability to do without guidance. Good Luck to all!

I have the Kenmore he3t waswher, the control lock light has just come on. What does that mean and How do I turn it oof?
Our four year old Frigidare Tumble Action Washer model # GLTF12404A, at any cycle start, it takes in water and without going through any washing cycle/s, it immidiately drains the water and the cycle comes to and end abruptly. Any idea what could the problem be?

my washer will fill, drain, but wont spin, it made a huge whinning sound like erch erch erch, then quit? spinning, empty load and full load , could it be the coupler?
same problem but i know the belt is too loose but how to tighten it??? took the back off (front loader) and con see the shaft and the motor no bolt on the end of the shaft and the motor has 2 bolts holding it on.
On mine, a heavy duty 90 series extra-capacity-plus, there is no spin cycle, althogh the motor is spinning. I tilted the washer up and looked under to confirm that the motor runs, but water is not pumped out and the basin does not turn. A thick black rubber bushing fell out of a space between the motor and what is probably some sort of vertical drive shaft, and it's fairly shredded.
