There are several IDS packages available. Search on SourceForge.net to find both executable versions and source code for intrusion detection systems. Some of them give information on how to set up and configure that particular IDS. You can also find honeypots for a different variation of network protection.

Codes351/420/442/455 what do they mean

(M) Check Engine Light ("Malfunction Indicator Light" or "Check Engine") will illuminate during engine operation if this Diagnostic Trouble Code was recorded (depending if required by CARB and/or EPA). MIL is displayed as an engine icon on the instrument cluster.

P0351 (M)
Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit
Peak primary circuit current not achieved with maximum dwell time.

P0420 (M)
Catalyst System Efficiency Below Threshold (Bank 1)
Catalyst 1/1 efficiency below required level.

P0442 (M)
Evaporative Emission Control System Leak Detected (medium leak)
A 0.040 leak has been detected in the evaporative system. (A faulty gas cap may cause this code). Also see TSB 25-001-02A. Note: The respective Powertrain Diagnostic Procedures Manual will direct the technician to determine if the vehicle evaporative system has an external system leak. Examples of some external system leaks are: a loose gas cap, a disconnected evaporative system hose, or a loose hose connection. Remember that the evaporative system may also have an internal system leak. This internal leak may be caused by an intermittent or permanently stuck open Duty Cycle Purge (DCP) valve. This leak source is considered to be internal because any escaping emissions enter into the engine system and not directly into the atmosphere, unlike an external leak. An internal leak may cause one of the above DTC?s. Possible causes of a stuck open (intermittent or permanent) DCP valve are: 1. Corrosion due to system moisture or possible water intrusion into the system.

P0455 (M)
Evaporative Emission Control System Leak Detected (large leak)
A large leak has been detected in the evaporative system. See TSB 25-001-02. Also, possible faulty or loose gas cap. GMC P2135 throttle sensor code

Trouble Code: P2135

Throttle Position (TP) Sensor 1-2 Correlation

Possible Causes:

Inspect the TAC module connectors for signs of water intrusion. If water intrusion occurs, multiple DTCs may set without any circuit or component conditions found during diagnostic testing. When the TAC module detects a condition within the TAC system, more than one TAC system related DTC may set. This is due to the many redundant tests run continuously on this system. Locating and repairing one individual condition may correct more than one DTC. Disconnecting components during testing may set additional DTCs. Remember this if you review the stored information in Capture Info.If this DTC is determined to be intermittent, refer to Testing for Intermittent Conditions and Poor Connections .This is what's listed for this code.

Hi! i want to use snort so that i can detect intrusion on my network, can you give me some source code used on windows 7?

1. use the computer firewall settings to prevent any unathorised access. once enabled, only the user of device can log out to another source and no other entities.
2. install anti virus software program for example, northon antivirus would prevent any foreign media from being integrated without permission.

important notes;

1. only trust what the computer user installs, where every material else is an intrusion.

Hi, Muhammad, It sounds to like you have been infected with a virus and will need to run an antivirus program at bootup. If you are unable to do this yourself then it is not a big job for a computer technician to do for you. Regards mistyman
