The file you downloaded should have provided instructions for its use wither in a redme file or on the page it was downloaded from. There are several different ways for flashing the BIOS. Many still require booting from a DOS disk and using a DOS-based flash utility to perform the update. Others are Windows executable files that can flash the BIOS directly without having to start a reduced-functionality environment, but they require Administrative access to the computer to perform the update.

If what you downloaded was a Zip file, there should be instructions included with it.

You also want to make sure that it the the correct BIOS you are flashing. If it is not the correct version, you risk permanent damage to your computer.

Can i fit a bigger processor to my ASUS K8V-MX Motherboard and mybe more ram and if so where can i purchase it from

This motherboard supports a AMD Athlon 64 / Sempron processor (Socket 754). Since this is an older unit you will have to search on Ebay for a processor.
As for the RAM you will need DDR 400, this can easily be purchased at www.newegg.com There is a maximum of 2 gb on your motherboard.

I had a Asus k8v-mx motherboard which is not producing any output from last week. As per an engineer motherboard should be replaced. But the problem is the same model is not available nowadays in my place....

This is an opportunity to upgrade to a later and faster motherboard.
Desktop computer cases have standard mountings for motherboards, and any motherboard you choose can be mounted in your case.
I suggest you do a little research on the Internet for motherboards, one of my favourite motherboards is from Gigabyte,
If your components are in good order and you don't need to upgrade any components then upgrade otherwise go for a whole new computer.
Be careful you may need a higher wattage power supply for the new motherboard.

ASUS K8V-MX Motherboard recognizing 320 GB SATA harddisk. Why?

It could be that your BIOS needs updating for this motherboard. Take note of your BIOS version when your computing is booting. Try hitting the Pause key to freexe the screen, but if no luck go into BIOS and see if the BIOS version is listed. You typically get in BIOS by hitting the "Delete' key on your keyboard when the computer starts up and the first bunch of words appear in white characters (might be a light grey)

I've produced the link for the download, but firstly remove the audio driver and reboot before trying to reinstall the drivers. Make sure you have very little applications running in the background before trying this.
