Question about Refrigerators
Freezer is fine so far. Fridge section is not as cold. Don't hear defrost running. Some build up of ice is now visible in the bottom freezer. Had it serviced about 2 months ago for same problem. Defrosted manually and was told a ice of ice may have been in the line.
Inside back cover of fridge should be a schematic. If this not computer controlled, there is a defrost timer in there somewhere. It will have 120 V AC coming to it, on to the heating element then back to 120 VAC return. If fridge has a ice maker, it also controls the water valve, filling the tray. Frequently the defrost timer fails, could also be wiring or the heater, but this is unlikely
