Most of the burners are just a slip joint so all u would have to do it pull or take a hammer to it and it should remove pretty easy after that good luck

SOURCE: How to change a propane barbeque to natural gas

Most grill makers do not offer a kit to convert. Look in your manual and call manu and see if they do. My answer would be they do not have a conversion kit. You have to buy a grill that is natural gas.

SOURCE: Can a Turbo STS 3

The original BBQ's Galore went bankrupt, but was bought by new owners, who still operate it as BBQ's Galore. However, they did buy any of the older company's parts supply. However, all you need are the burner orifices for each burner (including the rear burner) and a Hose/Regulator Assembly to connect the grill to the grill tank. Follow the conversion instructions in the Owner's Manual (see link below) and you should be able to do it.

http://www.grill-repair.com/images/grill/turbosts.pdf

I suspect if you call BBQ's Customer Support 800-752-3085. They can provide the orifices, as they are universal in fit. The Hose/Regulator Assembly can be purchased from any hardware store or home improvement center that sells grills and accessories, for about $30.00.

Once converted, you will see marked improvement in the heating capacity of Propane Gas, as opposed to Natural Gas. The grill will preheat faster and maintain higher temperatures longer.

I hope this helped you, Bradley and thanks for choosing FixYa. Happy Grilling!!

How i can convert Torbu sts 4-burner sts grill from natural gas to propain

To convert the fuel type for any barbecue the regulator has to be changed and all the prefaces have to be changed.
The regulator and the orifices must be purchased together or at the same time because the hole drilled in the orifice is dependent on the amount of pressure allowed into the manifod by the regulator.

I would like to convert a grill that was used on natural gas back to propane. Can I just purchase a regulator and hose and be good, or do I need to change anything else on the grill?

Burner orifices must be resized or adjusted to accommodate higher pressure LP.
Air shutters should be opened all the way to allow maximum air to gas ration.

Want to convert my Capt N Cook barbeque from propane to gas. Have the gas line already to hook up to barbeque but need to know what parts I need to replace and add to accomplish this Thanks

You need Natural Gas Burner orifices and perhaps, a new manifold. Also, a 12' long rubber quick disconnect hose (that's a Code Requirement) and all the necessary fittings. Contact your local BBQ Galore for the parts you need.

Gas grill conversion

It's safe, but you need to keep in mind that propane burns hotter than natural gas, so you won't need to turn the burners up as high for the same heat. Here's an article that explains some of the differences (but doesn't really answer your question): http://bbq.about.com/od/gasgrills/a/aa030505a.htm

Bottom line -- it's safe if you don't leave it cranked up to high flame. Two-thirds flame on propane should give about the same heat as full burner on natural gas.

Of course, you could change the jets. That would compensate for all the differences between NG and propane, and you could run the grill on full high heat if you wanted to.
