When you replaced the hard drive, did you restore the laptop using the recovery set you made when you first got the laptop or with a OEM windows disk?

You might have removed some of the wires before you have replaced the battery. since you have already opened the device, you can open up easily and then check whether all the connections are done as correctly. if still the problem persists then check if the charger is working with some one els's laptop. if not then contact us again

Are you aware that this charging system is computer controlled ? There is also a temp sensor for the battery > Battery Thermistor
In addition to the voltage regulator the charging system also utilizes a battery thermistor, which measures battery temperature, in order to control system voltage. A procedure for replacement of the battery thermistor can be found in this section.

Model 800 has no power after full charge will spin but I can stop it with my two fingers

It sounds as though the battery is not carrying the proper full charge. If the unit is still under warranty, have the battery unit replaced. Visit the website and see if there are any recalls fro your model. If yes, check to see if your model number, serial number, batch number are included.

If this is a new purchase, have you 'conditioned' the battery by charging it fully and discharging it fully at least 5 times? It's a form of 'battery exercise'.

It uses a Lithium-Ion (Li) battery, so it is unlikely to be suffering from the 'memory effect'.

If it is the original battery and you bought it years ago then the battery pack needs replacing. While it reports a full charge, the battery is simply incapable of holding enough charge to provide a strong current to drive the motor.

1989 Toyota, battery was dead two days ago, took it to a garage they put a new battery in and sent it out the door. Drove it a few times no problems. Last night driving home, engine light came on...

I'd take it to any good parts store (autozone, advance, etc..) and have them do a FREE charging system test and load test your battery. Almost sounds like your alternator is not charging or starting to go bad (not charging at full capacity)

2000 eldorado.....battery does not hold charge for more than a day

first thing to check would be the serpentine belt..if its worn it could be slipping and not fully charging the battery. Next i would take both the cables off and clean up the connections with a wire brush to insure good contact then after running the car around town awhile stop and check with a voltmeter and measure the battery.. if its good it will read 12.5v anything lower than this makes the battery suspect and if the battery is over three years old and reading low voltage it is bad and will need to be replaced.you can also check to see if your cars alternator is charging the battery...turn on and you clips to hold in place the meter to the battery and then raise the idle to about 2000 to 3000 rpm and watch the voltage it will rise up quickly to maybe from 13.5 to 14.5 volts then will be regulated down to about 13volts. the charging system is working. your battery probably has a cell going bad or the electrolyte is low and the battery should be serviced to proper levels. i hope this has helped can i get a rating thanks!

Battery light keeps coming on. brand new battery in car and car keeps dieing

Hi:
The battery light means that your charging system isn't working, so you most likely have a bad alternator, or connection to the battery.
You can test your alternator with a volt meter.
First, get your battery 100% charged up. It should read about 12.6 volts.
Next, start your car, and check the voltage across the battery. It should be at least 14 volts. If not, you are not charging your battery.
Most auto parts stores will check out your battery or alternator for free, if you stop by and don't own or can borrow a volt meter.

Mobile is not charging relince cdma f309

Sunil, There could be a number of reasons for your mobile not charging. 1. The battery charger could be bad. Get a new one. But before that try on a different phone or with a multimeter if it has some output. 2. The battery could be absolute dead. With a multimeter check it for some output. And also try to charge it with a different charger. These days I have seen different types of chargers at big stores for the public to charge their mobiles while shopping. try to charge from there. If the battery is dead then it need to be replaced. 3. The mobile charging socket could be bad and not connecting to the charger plug. If you have the required tools, then you can open the mobile and replace the socket. 4. The charging circuit of the mobile could have gone bad. needs special tools and knowledge to rectify the defect. If you feel faint doing it then visit the nearest service center (specially if the phone is under warranty).

One year old battery kept dying. It tested bad and

There is some things to check....

(1) Is your alternator charging? take your vehicle to Advanced Autos, Napa or someone like that and have them test your alternator.
(2) Is there something in the vehicle causing excessive drain on the battery when the motor is not running... like is the interior light may be on or something to that affect.
(3) Are you doing enough driving to recharge your battery? short stops and starts is not good for a battery as you may rob more energy from the battery then you are putting back in.
Sounds like something is draining your battery, something must be left on in the vehicle, Advanced Autos or Napa should be able to tell if something is draining your battery when the vehicle is off.
