The unit buttons do not respond when I push them only on/off

Check the power supply make sure it's connected properly then if plugged to an outlet you know works and it still has no power then I'd say the power supply is bad

blinking power lights are a factory setting to inform the customer there is an internal electronic fault. and the unit needs to be repaired by a service pro in 99% of cases the owner can do nothing to fix it.

tv will not turn on. Red lights indicate power to unit, no change when on button is pushed. I have tried powering the unit down with the master power button and also unplugging the power cord from back of unit. No change

I went to the Maytag site looking for a manual. None existed for my model, but I looked up won't start under the FAQs. The advice said to push the cancel button twice. My model doesn't have one, so I just started at the left side of the control panel and pushed each button twice. pushing the dry button twice made the lights stop blinking. i pushed the wash button and the unit started.

try to unplug unit for 30 min if this doesnt reser then change the module/control board.let me know what you think

First, try unplugging the unit for a couple of hours. That should reset the internal microprocessor. If that fails, try pushing all of the buttons one at a time. If one of them is stuck, nothing will work properly. You should be able to feel the button working. Report back here with your results.

while this may not be a fully working solution, have you guys tried pressing and holding the page button while at the same time pressing power. hold them in for a while and see what happens. it might just work. mine is sort of working after doing it a couple of times. page+power same time and hold longer than 5 sec just to be sure.

This is one of the best solution to do, look for unit who have same model as your unit( to your friends or neighbors) and test your remote control. If it wont work in another unit with same model then the remote control is defective, but if it works then its the receiver.
But try this solution first, if there is a reset button in your remote try to reset it then try the remote to your unit.

Note: sample only(reset button can be found either infront or at back of the remote control inside the battery compartment.)
