Question about Whirlpool LER5636P Electric Dryer

1 Answer

Wirlpool dryer heating eliment keeps braking

I replaced the heating eliment and the Theostat and the dryer worked for about 5 loads and now is not heating up any more. Sears is sending me a new one and I plan on giving that a try. Do you thing something else is wrong or just a bad part?

Sounds like you use dryer sheets. If you do, try cleaning your lint screen with vinegar. Dryer sheets leave a film on the screen that the dryer eventually can't breathe through, the dryer overheats and burns up the elements.

Dryer willnot heat

heating eliment is most likely burned out. Better off getting new dryer. But if that is not an option then call a repair person that can replace the heating element.
