Hi I am Vortash sounds like a component is heating and going Open circuit then it cools and the cycle begins again .. now if it is an actual component this pattern will not change however should it just be a dry joint then the set will sometimes stay on for long periods until it cools after switch off . Then the joint parts and the cycle begins again .. Now if it is a dry joint I would suggest that although it sounds an easy fix .. touching a soldering iron in the wrong place can prove rather hazardous for the unskilled not to say lethal .. and can actually cost you far more if you cross solder the wrong components on the closely packed circuit board , most engineers give a free estimate so you can also get second opinions to this problem .. I hope this is of help Regards Vortash
