No pic messaging on Moto Q

first look that your pic is in pic form or image form

for pic form go to the message sending option

for image (photo) form activate the mms setting
and try sending message

That usually occurs when your internet is not turned on. If you do not see that your 3G is turned on when you are trying to send a picture, you will get this error message. Go to your wireless settings and double check that your mobile network is turned on. If it is, you might need to update your profile (also under settings).

for sending text messages :
1. call to your network operator customer care
2. request the message center number...
3.note it down
4. go to message settings>message center number
5. insert the number which is noted by you and save it
this solves your messaging problem ...

try to add some download applications that would some let you directly send pics and video messages.

Windows-based devices, from my understanding, can not send/receive pic messages without a seperate program installed. Depending on your phone service provider, picture message receiving/sending is internet based. There are several programs online that allow you to receive the pic messages directly to your phone, the one that I use is sMMS, i believe, and its only 5 bucks to get the full version. I recommend that program, but there might be others out there that are cheaper/free.

check your phone service make sure you have some kind of data on your plan or you wont be able to receive pics or send them. i had the same problem and i just added a data plan and it fixed it. hope it works for you!

its because you have too many messages in your message folder.  delete them and you should be able to send messages again.

Are you the account holder? It's possible whoever set up the account blocked picture messages from being sent. If you log in to your account, you can change these features, or if you aren't the account holder, talk to that person. Picture messages cost more than regular text messages.

To block unwanted Text messages you can go to your SP and tell them that you do not want to receive any text messages at all... Good for if you are receiving SPAM messages.
