How do I get a replacement for a Disney Cars Huffy bike pedal?

My son's Disney Cars Huffy bike got backed over by a vehicle and the bike pedal was broken. I can't seem to find replacement parts on line. Where do I find them?

thanks! I can get it off of the crank, so that is helpful. I do wonder if a shop will carry spare parts for a child's bike... we shall see...

to mtous: i still have the pedal, but it is mashed pretty good. that is the only problem. I can remove the crank still.

Are you only missing the pedal?

Or are you missing more parts?

When the pedal broke, were you able to remove it from the crank?

You can find replacement pedals on amazon. The cheapest (with most positive reviews) is Avenir Resin Pedals. Just chose the size, and enjoy. cheersHow do I get a replacement for a Disney Cars Huffy - get-replacement-disney-cars-huffy-bike-uh3jsoynacgcqh0wcsujgpyu-2-0.jpg

You probably can't obtain an original part but if you can get the pedal off the crank ( right pedal unscrews counterclockwise, left pedal unscrews clockwise) you can take it to a good bike shop to match it up to a new one. You will probably have to buy a set unless they have a spare in the shop. Hope this helps.

Hi, my daughter pricess bike won't ride. am not what is wrong. newly prchsed and assemble. please can you help?

will the pedals move forward? they should cause the chain to move and the crank in the back to cause the wheel to spin, if this isnt happening, look at the chain and make sure its correctly on both sprockets, if the pedals still wont spin, they may be too tight on the crank.

I would like to remove the pedals to teach my child to ride on 2 wheels but cannot find the manual

In my tips and tricks section is a link to the manual. You can also take the bike into any bike shop and generally they are happy to pop the pedals off for you. You need a pedal wrench to remove the pedals, so if you don't own one then this is the simplest and cheapest solution.

Hello, I bought my little girl the huffy 12in disney princess bike (blue) already assembled from walmart. she tried to ride it today, but when she pedals the back wheel spins, but the training wheels and...

ONE AT A TIME, loosen the nuts securing the training wheels to the rear axle and slide each one upward a little bit so it float a little bit off the ground when the bike is vertical, then retighten the nut.

As she develops her handling and balance skills she'll need less help from the training wheel. So you can gradually raise them a bit higher as she masters balance and then she'll develop the 'lean' for turning. Ultimately, you remove them entirely.

I hope she's wearing a properly-fitted helmet.

I am assembling a Disney princess 16" bicycle and discovered that the shaft that the pedals screw into is not threaded. Is this a manufacturing defect?

YES!!!!!

You need to either return the bike and get another, or go through the warranty process. This time of year,if you bought the bike from a physical store (not-online) then I would go back and exchange.

My son has the Huffy rock out bike. The pedal fell off, and so I was sent the whole single arm crank and new pedals. I have no owners manual, and no assembly instructions whatsoever. Along with the crank...

The reason the pedal fell of is because of a bad set up. Who assembled the bike? If, you did, guess what! You did not tighten the pedal to the crank arm to begin with. If, Walmart or other discount store did it, have them fix it. You have to understand. you bought the bike without professionals putting it together and sometimes that is a problem when you don't have the knowledge of what you are doing. You have to pay one way or another. When you let a kid ride a bike that is not assembled correctly you are endangering them. My advice is :Get it fixed right.

Son's can pedal 12" bike

Yes, something isn't turning freely. It's either the front wheel, the back wheel, or the pedals and chain. Lift the bike off the ground and turn the front wheel by hand. If it doesn't turn very freely, it could be the hand-brake is dragging or the hub bearing is too tight. Try the back wheel in both directions. It should move freely in the forward direction. When rolling it backwards it is normal for the pedals to move too if this bike has a coaster brake (that is the kind of brake that is applied by pushing the pedals backwards.) It the back wheel moves forward freely, but backwards is a problem, then try the pedals by hand with the rear wheel off the ground. If this doesn't turn freely, the pedal crank bearing (a.k.a. bottom bracket) is too tight. Once you have identified the problem take it back to where you got it. It should be easy to fix, or they should replace it.
