Question about HP Photosmart 618 Digital Camera
My HP Photosmart digital camera model C618 is locked in a state of extended lens, but not turned on. The on/off switch has no effect. This happened once before, probably two years ago, and I found directions somewhere on the internet to "reset" the camera. Probably involved removing the memory card or batteries, maybe holding down a hidden button or something. Unfortunately, I can't remember what I did, or where I found the instructions. Anyone have a better memory, or a better set of search key words. I can't find it on the HP support site or any other google combination of words. Thanks, Jere
Remove the batteries. Wait at least sixty seconds before reinstalling the batteries and turning the camera on.
You may want to print out the page or write down what you need to do and stick it in your camera case for future reference.
Good Luck! : )
