Acer veriton all n 1 z290g screen keep flickering in and out

When I turn on monitor it flickers in and out but I can hear it but no picture

i Have the same problem, this screen is used on the spare computer we have in a loft conversion and the room does get rather cold, Warming the screen up with a fan heater for a couple of minutes gets rid of the problem. When the fault occurs the buttons on the front to adjust the picture quality don't work they just turn off the monitor.

With the computer on, use a flash light to inspect the screen. If you can see a very faint image then either the inverter board is bad or back light. Usually its the inverter.
If you get nothing, plug an external monitor and toggle the display to it. If you get output then your screen is bad or possibly a loose video cable.
If you get nothing, power off, pull battery pull all memory out. Power on computer. If you get BIOS and a no memory error, one of your memory modules is bad.
Still nothing, then the motherboard is bad.

Black screen won't boot up

1.) unplug system
2.) remove side panel
3.) remove the battery from on the main board
4.) press and hold the power button for 30 seconds
5.) replace battery, plug in system
6.) turn on
7.) enter the bios by pressing the enter setup key displayed
8.) restore default settings, save and exit. (optimized settings work great)
